Firstly, some statistics:
otagowine.com is frequently receiving in excess of of 500 unique visits per day, 12,500 per month and has had over 325,000 unique visits since we started. (as at October 2007). Our email newsletter goes out to a steadily growing address list of more than 3000 people who have subscribed to it.

We believe these high visitor numbers are due largely to the huge amount of effort we have put into promoting the site and keeping it up to date. The web site has a lot of information about the region, Central Otago wine trail, individual wineries, and of course the wines. Advertising on our web site will reach a targeted audience who have already indicated they are interested in the Central Otago wine industry. Many of the visitors are from overseas and are also looking at the lifestyle choices in the Central Otago region.

The advertising options we can offer are as follows:

Banner Advertisements

Banner advertisement on home page of otagowine.com – displayed in a prominent position - currently receiving in excess of 500 unique visits per day. Includes click-through to a feature web page (included in price) or direct to your own web site. Cost: $450 per month (discounted for 3 months or more – please contact us)

Newsletter Advertisements

Advertisement in monthly otagowine.com newsletter - currently going to more than 3000 subscribers. We will create a similar banner-type advertisement which is displayed in a prominent position in our otagowine.com newsletter. As above, interested visitors click-through to a feature web page (included in price) or direct to your own web site.

Cost: $500 per issue (note that in the case where there is more than one issue per month, advertising in the mid-month issue will be complimentary).

Classifieds/Real Estate

As a guideline, an advertisement in this section will cost approx. $150 per month, including a click-through to a web page - plus setup fee for web page to be negotiated at time of advertising. - 150 words plus small graphic (or click-through to your own web page) See http://www.otagowine.com/realestate/

Newsletter/Classified Advertisements/Banner Ad Combo deal

In recognition of a long-term commitment from you (three months minimum) to advertising with us, we are prepared to offer this package for $750 per month (normal cost approx. $1100).
Includes a regular feature in our email newsletter, banner ad on front page of Otagowine.com web site, both linking through to a dedicated web page for your advertising in our classified section – or direct to your own web site. No additional charge for impressions.
